I believe I lost my phone shortly after arriving at Chicago O’Hare Airport. I do not remember the exact gate, but I believe it may have been in Terminal A, as once I got off the plane, the escalators to the ground level were immediately nearby and I did not have to walk far through the airport.
After deplaning, I took the escalator down to the lower level and exited near Doors D, specifically around 3-D. Before leaving the airport, I went into the women’s restroom on the lower level near Doors D. I remember using a stall and then going to wash my hands. It is possible that I accidentally left my phone on the bathroom counter near the sinks.
After leaving the restroom, I exited directly through the doors and walked across the street to meet my dad, then got into the car. I did not stop anywhere else afterward.
The lost item is an Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max. The phone itself is blue, but it was inside a gray, sparkly protective case. On the back of the case, there is a black circular magnetic ring. The phone also has a screen protector with glitter around the edges, which should make it easily identifiable.
At the time it was lost, the phone was powered off. I have Lost Mode enabled, so if the phone is turned back on, my phone number should appear on the screen. However, because the phone is currently powered off, I am unable to view its current location through tracking services.
The phone may contain personal information and is locked with a passcode.
