The item was last seen on flight number UA3609 after the flight attendant called from the flight scheduled to fly from Toronto to Istanbul flight number AC 810. She contacted someone and they found the camera bag in the overhead bin above seat 16D. Wow I thought good they found it and they can bring it to the Air Canada plane as there was enough time to bring it. However it had to go to security and be checked by someone else. The flight attendant said there is a flight everyday from Toronto to Istanbul and it can be sent tomorrow June 13. If it was I have never seen it as of today. It is my understanding items are sent to a general lost and found area after 5 days. Hopefully it can be located there. The camera case is about the size of a softball. It is black with a shoulder strap. The camera inside is a Nikon cool Pix model S6200.I did give information to Air Canada lost and found in Istanbul when I arrived there. |
