At Kenya Airways check in counter in Nairobi Kenya. Suitcase was over weight and it was one of the items I placed in my carry on backpack. Believe the black cloth bag the necklace and earrings fell out in the x-ray machine area at JFK Terminal 4 in lower customs area when I placed my tablet and duty free alcohol on tray. I placed backpack on tray but when it came through it wasnt on the tray and 2 of the 3 zippers were open. Couldnt find necklace and earrings when I unpacked at home.The only other time I opened the backpack was to get a snack out of the backpack. We sat in the full body wooden curved loungers in front of the Victoria Secrets Store across from the candy store with the two large MM characters one wearing a foam finger and the other the statue of of Liberty crown. |

The clay bead necklace painted in a zebra pattern and matching earrings were in an 8 inch square black cloth bag. It was crumpled up into a ball when placed into backpack. The necklace and earrings were inside a white pouch together and the pouch was stapled across the top. The clay painted beads are cream, black and brown. The necklace is approximately 24 inches in length. The earring hooks were made from silver colored wire. |
