Arrived late into Lisbon due to a delay in departure of flight AC810 out of Toronto into Lisbon therefore, missed connecting flight into Madrid -Flight IB532 which was booked by AC agent Xyllina Montalbo at Winnipeg Richardson Airport on Sept 25th due to a cancellation of our initial flight out of winnipeg AC374 by Air Canada.Rebooked as: YYZ AC268, AC810, IB532.We were advised in Winnipeg by said agent that our luggage would carry through to Madrid, however once in Lisbon,we were advised we had to retrieve our luggage due to the late arrival and missing our final connecting flight IB532. Went to baggage claim area and our luggage could not be found. Checked in with Lost luggage at Lisbon and nothing found. A companion traveller in our group booking has an air tag which shows her luggage is still in Lisbon. Rebooked a flight at Lisbon to reach our destination of Madrid IB0583.We last saw our luggage at the Winnipeg Richardson Airport on September 25, 2025. There was no luggage waiting for us in Madrid either. Assuming our luggage is in Lisbon - as a best guess. |

As we are touring in Madrid, then departing for Barcelona, then Flying to Nice, France for a cruise, we would like to attempt to get our luggage delivered to us during our journey. We have a final flight back to Winnipeg on October 15th out of Paris.My bag is black fabric carry on size luggage, with a small red maple leaf painted on the fabric by the suitcase handle. Contents are vacuum packed bags containing pants, shirts, sweaters, dresses, a luggage cube with socks, underwear, bathing suit, toiletries, and two demin jackets.Baggage tag issued by Air Canada in photo. |
