| Location Details: | My mom had her hearing aids on during the plane trip from Tokyo to Singapore. There was a problem with the disabled assistance person getting her into the aisle wheelchair in changi airport, where he was flopping her around with her arms around his head and she was upset and covering her head in apparent defence. She was very upset and during this time I believe her hearing aids became dislodged as when we sat down in the assistance lounge in the airport we realised she didnt have them anymore. I believe they would have been on the floor or caught up in the blankets that ended up on the floor. |
| Additional Information: | The people in the assistance lounge where we were taken were not helpful and I reported it to crew as soon as we got on our connecting flight SQ235. The gentleman took the details and opened a ticket. When we landed in Brisbane I went to the desk in arrivals like he told me to, but the lady there told me she could see the ticket had been opened and she couldnt do anything else I should just go online and follow up. I have been trying to ring singapore airlines Australia for help but no phone lines I can find answer and whan I rang the American helpline she couldnt access the right information..The hearing aids are grey and re chargeable. One ear has a blue dot and one a red tiny. On the actual ear insert. They are over the ear design with a tiny cable and silicon earpiece. Amplifon. |
