Our flight was originally 30 mins delayed so we went to Pret A Manger upstairs to get some coffee. While we were there we received another notification from Easyjet that there was a further delay of 40 mins so 1hr 10 mins total. When we checked the departures board 5 mins later it said that the gate had closed So we grabbed our belongings and ran to the gate to check, and thankfully discovered there had been an error and the gate had opened and they were boarding all passengers in the hope of an earlier departure window from air traffic control. We only noticed we had left a bag behind at Pret once the flight had taken off. |
