Original booking was on air canada flight ac 090 from yyz to gru Sao Paulo. Air canada Plane was to have left at 21:35 on January 30th. Air canada Plane was delayed until 01:35 January 31st. Air Canada Booking reference 4ON2V7 flying from toronto to Buenos Aires Connecting to AC 096 from GRU Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires Eze. Due to the late departure of flight ac090, the AC096 connection could not be made. To enable customer to arrive at their correct destination on January 31st, Air Canada reservation agent whose name is Anna, booked a connecting flight on Ethiopian Air leaving at 17:00 on January 31st arriving at 19:55 in Buenos. We informed airport Stagg at boarding gate to e sure our luggage was reassociated. She assured us this was done. Luggage for co passenger Sonia spekkens arrived at Eze destination terminal in Buenos Aires at time of arrival but for Andre Spekkens his checked luggage was missing. This was reported to airport personnel and a report was completed on January 31st at time of arrival. A reporting reference for filing this report was not provided by airport person who accepted the report. Both passengers are embarking on Princess cruise on the ship called Sappbire. The ship is being boarded in Buenos Aires on Feb 5th. Mr spekkens has had only one day of clothing. All other items of apparel are in the large navy blue Swiss Gear suitcase. We have had to purchase clothing for him to wear in the interim. He is 6 5 in height . He has not been able to purchase trousers that are long enough for his height. This is a problem. Our cruise in heading south around the south end of south America. The disembarkation port is San Antonio in Chile on Feb 19th. His missing suitcase contains three sets of trousers 2 casual and one dress, a dinner jacket ,two dress shirts, a pair of leather dress shoes, five pair of underwear, pair of long drywick longjohns, three t-shirts, two long sleeved dry wick under shirts, two new knitted sweaters ,shaving kit filled with bathroom items, four ties, wind breaker pants, wind breaker jacket, two bathing suits, three pairs of shorts, leather belt, pair of crocs, four pairs of socks 2 dress one and 2 woolen ones, winter hat and winter gloves, winter scarf, iPad charger, 3 golf shirts. There may be more items but that is all we can recall at this time. I have attached a photo of our baggage claim for booking reference stated above. |
