We arrived home in Lvis Quebec, Canada on the evening of July 20. The trip went well, but was very long because we got up around 4 a.m. to go to Lisbon airport and we arrived in Lvis around 10 p.m. 2 a.m. at your place. We talked so much about you to our relatives and friends yesterday. We will be happy to see you again in the next few years.I have a favor to ask of you, because a little glitch happened to me at the airport. Once seated on the plane, I realized that I no longer had my cell phone on me. Several photo memories and my personal files have thus disappeared. A pickpocket stole it from me for sure because a good 15-20 minutes before I had it and I was looking at my applications. It all happened when I was in the long line to board the Air Transat plane, gate 44. I then got up from my plane seat and left to run to report on the situation. Back in the airport, two ladies from Air Transat were kind enough to help me, but it was already too late, because the plane took off within minutes. However, a Quebec lady who was taking the same plane as me told me that a person had just been arrested with cell phones near the gate where we were.I reported the situation to my insurance yesterday, but the person who took my call asked for a report from airport security or the airport police. Quite weird that, because they know that I cant go back and couldnt have it since my plane was taking off.I do not want to give them reason, because I pay insurance for that, to reassure me during the trip. This is where I thought of you: would it be possible to call the airport and request such a report for me please. This would help me claim my cell phone from my travel insurer. I admit that my English or even Portuguese language is much worse than you. If you cant do anything, thats fine. But if you do it for me I would be very happy about that. I used a translator to write to you, so there could be translation errors.Thank you for everything.My phone is an Apple XR. The protective shell is transparent on the back with a dark green border. The thief must have committed his theft between 7:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. according to Lisbon airport time.Thanks for your help if possible. |
