I flue from JFK TO PAP. At boarding, I was asked to check-in my carry-on. Being a last minute request, I forgot that I had inserted my phone into my carry on for convenience and the agent never reminded to remove important items from the gate-checking luggage. At Port au Prince, my bag was damaged or broken into. My phone was missing. I had a hard time communicating with my ride, which is a very dangerous thing, view the current turmoil in the country. My phone was stolen during transport. I cannot tell exactly where. It had been turned on with no answer when I checked. |
