I was extremely tired, but think I remember wearing the hat as I came off the plane. I went to two toilets at luggage reclaim and after collecting the luggage before going out for a bus and visited the Costa Coffee. Then I went out of the terminal building to catch a bus to the Central Station at Heathrow in order to catch my bus 501, I did not leave the hat on this bus. The bus I boarded in order to get to Central Station was a National Express Bus, but apparently all these buses are owned by separate companies and not by National Express and without the number of the bus I boarded or destination they were unwilling to help me find my hat. I have not even been able to get a number to phone for the central station. It is very possible I left my hat on the overhead space above my seat on that bus, or at the Central Bus Station in the waiting room or in the toilet. The bus was very late, nearly two hours, so my travel times were 5.30 to 7pm for being in the airport and taking the bus to the central station. And 6.30 to 9pm at the Central Station as the bus was 2 hours delayed. if my hat has not been found in the airport - Please a Find me a number to speak to lost property at Central Station b an email address for them.I feel a great sense of loss without this hat, which has connection with my family and has been my companion for years. I appreciate your effort and time. |
