Location Details: It was certainly last seen at 7.30am when I left my home at the door on the way to the airport. Later I recall on the train I took my jacket and coat off, and was not alerted that bracelet was missing or wrist empty I wear it on my right hand side- I was also writing down notes on the table on train which would have made it obvious if it was missing then. Train journey was from Victoria Station on Southern started on 14102-14 at 08.02am arrived to Gatwick airport around 8.40-45am. I realised the bracelet was missing at around 9.30am when I sat down at the flight seat after I took off my jacket. I was on coach 78 on the the train, window seat with table on RHS. I was only carrying a handbag on day return flight. I was wearing grey trouser suit, with black trench coat on my arm and over bag also at certain points and carrying large black leather handbag. I was wearing three quarter length sleeve grey cardigan under my jacket and a black top, and wearing black loafersslips. When I arrived at Gatwick I proceeded to take escalator on the left side, then turned right towards south terminalairport, walked through the doors on LHS, then proceeded through the airport up on escalator near airline desk and towards security. I used the middle area next to wall but on left side- I scanned through boarding pass and retina detection, then headed into the middle area for security, we were delayed there for sometime- after the unusually long delay and other passengers were complaining their items were missing, luggage items mixed with others. I finally finished through security, took the left side stairs and proceeded directly for the Ryan air gate to my memory gate 24. I had to walk through duty free in a circle to head for the gates, I proceeded without stopping until I reached the gate at around 9.55-58am. I scanned through the passport and boarding pass with the lady on the RHS. Walked straight through near the end area and sat at the back nearer to the window looking into the airport, I got up and walked to the end to the vending machine the water VM last next to the window. Went back to my seat then got up again stood next to the same machine facing the window, made a phone call while my handbag and coat were on the floor. Call was at 9.16 lasted 2 minutes. Then I went back and sat on the same seat. I was unwell, flushing with flu symptoms sore throat and blacked ear hence I removed my jacket and coat many times. We were called to the flight around 9.25. I was in the last group at the queue waiting in line to take the stairs to the aircraft. There was only a group of young woman, her baby, and her father who was carrying the baby, also another man on his own was there. I went ahead and towards my seat at seat 14D, initially I put my coat and bag in overhead compartment, but then I took it out and left it under seat, I took my jacket off and sat down, when I realised my wrist was missing the bracelet around 9.30am.
Additional Information: I am desperately trying to find my bracelet which I have been wearing continuously for 29 and half years, since I was 12, it was custom made given to me as a gift. I have never taken it off, except when I was under medical procedures during an illness. The bracelet is gold 2122ct with chain and bar, my name is engraved on it in capital letters italic TARA. It has few dents on the bar because of the very high gold content. This is the description of the bracelet and the detail of events on the day on the morning of Tuesday 14102014 I travelled from London through Gatwick airport to Dublin on same day return. I left my home at 7.30 am I was wearing my bracelet., arrived to sloane square station, purchases a day trip return to Gatwick airport at 7:38am, I travelled from Sloane Square to Victoria Station, I took the Southern train to gatwick south terminal 4 stops, which departed from victoria at 08.02,platform 18, I was in coach 78, second window seat to the door with table to the right side. Arrived at Gatwick south terminal at 08.4045am, went through security and continued through duty free and onto gate without stopping, arrived at gate at 08.55am to Ryan air flight to Dublin at 09.40. I was at the gate until flight was called at about 09.30am. I think it was gate 24 I sat at the back but headed once next to the vending machine to make a phone call at 09.16am As I entered the flight and proceeded to take my jacket off to sit down at seat no 14D I realised my bracelet on my right wrist is missing. I had a bad cold and was on cold medication hence I was slightly not fully aware, my right ear from sore throat was partially blocked perhaps why I did not hear its sound falling. The bracelet is a small size gold chain, with a bar, my name is engraved in capitalsitalic on it TARA, on the inside of the bar a small stamp of 21k on it. The lock is woven thick type with bar going through 2 wholes, some soap residue on it. Also wear and tear dents on the exterior of the bar where my name is engraved. I have worn the bracelet for 29.5 years except brief periods during illness medical procedure. It was gifted to me when I was 12 and been on my right wrist ever since. It is physically part of me, it is the most sentimental item I own to me, it feels my arm is missing. I would be ever so grateful to find it and have it back. If you require photos, I can provide as many. The bracelet most likely fell between the train platform at gatwick, in security or on way through duty free and to the gate, or perhaps on the tarmac when queuing at the steps of the flight. I had taken my jacket and coat off many times in the airport because I was flushing from the cold and perhaps what cause the clasp to open. Although I have a feeling it fell in security area up to the point in the gate or possibly on the steps of the flight. Ryan air flight number on the day 14102014 is FR113 departure from gatwick to dublin. I am still hopeful and desperate for my bracelets return, I have attached pictures of the bracelet it only allowed me to upload one image. Much grateful for your help.I am at a loss and desperately hoping it returns to me, I have been wearing nearly my entire life since I was a child. I have contacted all possible sources, including police and gatwick airport, security, victoria, souther trains etc. I have also contacted amazon and will be contacting ebay and gum tree, in case the person who finds it attempts to sell it. I have been searching on ebay in case someone is attempts to auctionsell it. Naturally there is no way for me to contact jewellers or certain outlets that purchase gold without proof of ID or ownership. I am looking into registering on a data base that can identify the items.
