Location Details: In my handbag when in the airport lounge but it fell out of my handbag underneath the second last seat 87k.
Additional Information: On obtaining our seating I was informed that it was the very last 2 seats on the plane and a crew member would take the isle seat for take off and landing. We went to the last seating and made our selves comfortable.10minutes later another 2 people came and claimed those seats and we had to move to the two in front. In my haste to move, the contents of my bag fell under the seat in front where I had put it as required. i retrieved what I thought was all of my belongings and moved to 87 K, then placing my bag under the seat in front again. We took our hand luggage off the plane in Dubai as instructed and it was not until I unpacked my bag in Amsterdam that I realized the camera was not in my bag. I tried to discuss my problem but the contact no was not working 02 02035444 for the airline. My traveling companions who witnessed my distress suggested i contact the Emirates when I got to England in 3 weeks. When I did contact the airline 034480002777 i was informed I would need to go to airport lost property in Dubai on my return. This i did on our arrival from flight EK006 on Tuesday Oct 7. they showed me a photo on a Sony camera found and then informed me that they only keep lost items for 4 weeks. My lost camera is a PANASONIC FT3 LUMIX model DMC-FT3GN-S, SilverArgent, serial no. FK1GB0014U3 and was a gift from the Heart Lung Transplant Association in recognition of our significant contribution to the association on the 22nd June 2013. It contained a 4 GBGo card which had only 2 photos of a cream fence on it.
