I had a very small red zip make-up purse containing my jewelry in my carry-on luggage when we left Edinburgh on Flight VS3012 from Edinburgh to Heathrow on the 24th August, 2014. We had a connecting flight from Heathrow to Brisbane. Some days after we reached Brisbane, and were staying with friends, I noticed the purse was not in my case, but thought I might have moved it when condensing luggage as we had 2 medium cases as well. I did not think for a moment that the purse was lost as I am so careful with our belongings and we had travelled around the world for 2.12 months without losing anything. The only place I can think of that it might been lost was for it to have fallen out of my backpack during the flight or in the airport.. The purse contained a pair of diamond studs 1.12 cts worth 2,500AU, a pair of earrings made from a local gem in Juneau worth 300, which was my 35th Wedding Anniversary present from my husband, a pair of red and cream earrings worth 175, my husbands gold dress ring with a dark blue stone worth approx. 250. There were a few costume jewelry pieces as well. All these items have great sentimental value to us both. Any help you can give me in my search would be appreciated. Thank you. Daryl Gordon |
