After clearing the TSA security point at terminal D.
I completely forgot I had a gift laptop in my bag as I had packed it about a week before.
The TSA Officer did ask me if I had a kindle or PC and I erroneously answered no. After waiting for a while my bag came out next to my PC in a separate plastic tray but since I had forgotten about it I did not recover my PC.
After unpacking at destination I discovered the charger and cables but no PC and realized my mistake!
I called the TSA lost and found number 281-443-5301 on Monday June 29 and left the recorded requested details and was informed to expect a call back that has not happened to this date.
