I am writing regarding a pair of AirPods that I unfortunately left behind on my flight from Frankfurt to Bahrain on 16 October 2026.
Here are my flight details:

Using Apple’s Find My feature, I can see that my AirPods are currently located at the Bahrain Airport Police premises. I am very grateful that they appear to have been found and secured.
Unfortunately, Bahrain was only a transit stop on my journey to the Maldives. I did not enter Bahrain and remained in transit at the airport. Therefore, I am unable to access the location where my AirPods are currently being held.
I will be travelling back through Bahrain on my return journey. My return flight details are as follows:
* Flight from Malé to Bahrain: GF145
* Departure from Malé: 19:05
* Arrival in Bahrain: 22:15
* Connecting flight to Frankfurt: GF17
* Departure from Bahrain: 01:20
As I will most likely remain in the transit area during my stopover, I would like to kindly ask whether it would be possible to transfer my AirPods to the airport’s Lost and Found office or another location accessible to transit passengers.
This would allow me to collect my AirPods during my stopover before boarding my connecting flight to Frankfurt.
I would be extremely grateful for your assistance and would appreciate it if you could let me know whether this arrangement is possible.
If necessary, I would be happy to provide additional information, such as the AirPods’ serial number, proof of ownership, or screenshots from Apple’s Find My app showing their current location.
