I took the laptop out of my bag to go through security at Terminal 8, in the furthest right lane, closest to TSA pre-check. I never grabbed it out of the tray after it went though the X-Ray machine, and left without it.
The laptop is dark grey with a mouse adapter sticking out of the side. When I realized I left it I ran back to get it but it was too late and I had to board.
