I was sitting in the seating waiting area to the right of the front of Gate 9 (facing Gate 9 as a passenger). The seating area was about 3-6 rows to the right of the Gate 9. I put my black leather briefcase under the seat and forgot it was there and did not realize it was missing until we deboarded in Los Angeles International Airport.
It is a black leather briefcase with a lock on the front of the briefcase. It has a handle to hold on to and carry it. The briefcase has a silver lock on the front of the briefcase. Inside the briefcase is my laptop computer and various files.
