I was on an Emirates flight from Heathrow to Dubai airport. I went to the bathroom to perform ablution, and needed to take my ring off. I didnt want to put my three rings 1 x Diamond and Sapphire, and other 2 x Non-Expensive Diamonique, QVC directly on the basin incase it fell in to the sink, so I put all three of them in a plastic cup which someone else placed near the basin. When I got back to my seat, around 15 minutes later I realised when putting some cream on my hands that I could not find my ring. I went to the bathroom only to find that I could not see the cup anywhere. The flight attendant spoke to lost and found who said no one had handed anything in. They even searched the bin bags, and found the cup but with no rings in them. I dont know if they were taken or handed in but I would very much like my diamondsapphire ring foundreturned as it was a gift from my husband many years ago. The monetary value, while it carries some significance, is far less important than the emotional connection I have with that ring.I would very much appreciate it if someone could provide me with the details. |
