at the book in counter where it was declared as excess baggage and taken away from the passenger as they could not pay the excess fees . they were 4 families that could not pay the excess ...They managed to get the required money transferred to their credit card and when they then tried to get the baggage it was gone .. |

have called the Qatar embassy and was advised to call Tracey of Qatar airlines on 0836802454 she could not give me any info about where the baggage could be and asked that I call back in 30 minutes to give her time to find out what happened to the baggage and or where it could be found ....I called back but she could not find anybody that could tel her where the baggage was taken to or where it was kept and or if it was possible to come and identify the baggage .....pay the excess fees and bring it home and keep it until next yearAugust when the passengers would be visiting South Africa Description it was a big purple suitcase trade name unknownwith slip out handle and 4 wheels contents ... a handbag and clothing and 5 Vac Pack bags with toys and shoes and boots in them |
