The keys were last seen on the way to Whakatane Airport. My grandson was playing with them - to distract him. He was sitting in his car seat in the back of the car. We unloaded luggage, including the car seat which went on the plane along with other luggage. When I got home I found that I did not have the keys with me. They could have been picked up in the airport car park, but they could also have fallen out of the car seat somewhere in transit - right through to Auckland and the domestic terminal. The plane left last Thursday at about 2 pm and flew directly to Auckland. When my son arrived - the car seat had been transported in an Air NZ bag. I presume that applied when they flew back to Auckland. I wonder if the keys fell out of the seat into the bag. |
